Cabo de Gata

Yesterday we left Letur after 2 workaway weeks at Luis' place. We have 2 weeks now to get to Penela in Portugal. I prefer stays of at least 2 nights. Otherwise it's driving - stop and move stuff from the caravan to the car - sleep - drive - stop and move stuff.... We did that a few times in the first week and I found it to be restless. Not my cup of tea :-)
So...the plan was to have two long stops, one in Granada and one in Sevilla, but this morning we came up with a different route. The thing also is that we don't want to drive long distances. If a route planner says it's 200km and 2,5 hours, it will take us at least 4 hour haha. The Ford towing Kruimel is just not going very fast haha. Good thing we're not in a hurry :-)
Ok, back to our itinerary for the next 13 days: tomorrow we drive to Granada and will stay there for 3 nights. Then 2 nights Marbella, 3 nights Sevilla, 3 nights Lagos (Portugal), 1 night somewhere between Lagos and Penela and arrive in Penela on Saturday April 14th!

Today was a relaxing day. We arrived here yesterday and it was warm and there was sun! This morning we took our mountainbikes for a ride to the beach and on to the village. Moos is always happy when he can run and he just loves the beach! We stopped for a drink in the vilage and enjoyed the sun and although it's not a very touristy place the 'promenade' was lively. A lot of Spanish families were out, strolling along with kids, friends, dogs... I guess this is how Easter Sunday is spent here. I like it :-)
